Some of Larry's People Powered Sewing Machines

A visit to Eleanor and Dick Beck's house was quite an experience. They have a small building that houses nothing except sewing items. If it has the word 'sew' in it, then Eleanor has it or is trying to get it.

I came home with two machines - a treadle and a handcrank. Both are very nice and I intend to sew with them both. The handcrank's serial number is F5271266 and it was built in Clydebank, Scotland in 1914. The treadle's serial number is AD040921 and it was built in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1930.

Here are some pictures of those two machines. Click any picture for an enlargement.
